Scaler
Under the direction of the Statewide Scaling Coordinator, the incumbent will perform skilled rope access tasks. Tasks will involve working at heights to maintain cliff faces across the state. The incumbent will be responsible for scaling and maintaining cliff faces using tools and safety equipment; inspecting the cliff face; setting up anchor and belay systems; belaying scalers from drop locations; spotting work operations from outside of the hazard zone and keeping the public out of areas being scaled; cleaning and removing material dropped on trails from the scaling operation.

From $31.25 to $31.25 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
Must be able to descend vertical surfaces while wearing a harness and carrying equipment; and have six months experience working at great heights.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
