The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) in the Niagara Region is seeking a Park & Recreation Aide to assist agency staff in the management of trees and shrubs throughout the Niagara region. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Under the direction of the Tree Care Supervisor, the candidate will perform tree care operations including tree removal and pruning, from aerial lifts, and on the ground planting, stump grinding, brush chipping and integrative pest and vegetation management. o The incumbent will operate and maintain various equipment including chainsaws, aerial lift, dump truck, chipper, stump grinder, skidsteer, and other heavy equipment and hand tools used in tree care and park operations. o May interact with park patrons to resolve concerns, answer questions, and give general directions.

Salary Range:
From $17.95 to $22.76 Hourly
Minimum Qualification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
