Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager along with the Stockroom Coordinator(s) and Packaging Clerk(s).
Maintains accurate stock balances, issues and receives parts, verifies cycle counts and error reconciliations in any and all stockrooms.
The incumbent is fully versed in and has knowledge of all transaction screens required to perform:
verifications, corrections, kit issues, shop floor issues, shortages, receipts from the shop, receipt from Receiving Inspection, returns to stock, inter-stock transfers and spares shipments.
There are 32 transaction screens that could be used on a daily basis to perform the activities listed, therefore, a large part of the job is knowing how and when to use the appropriate transaction.
There is a high degree of accuracy required because all parts are now, essentially, traceable by lot or serialized.
This demands that the stock clerk constantly be aware of the lot numbers that are being requested.
Able to lift parts and boxes that vary in weight from less than a pound to 65 lbs.
