As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for the testing and disposition of finished goods in accordance to PPI & ISO/TS requirements.
This is a full-time position, working from 6pm - 6am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Quality Control Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspection and testing of plated product according to requirements Testing includes use of X-ray Fluorescence equipment, Comparator, Toolmaker's microscope, micrometers and verniers Final product release, take appropriate action on non-conforming materials Identify/label Non-conforming product and quarantine appropriately in accordance with applicable work instructions and practices Address deviations, make appropriate decisions, communicate same to QA Supervisor Catalog and store material retention samples in accordance with applicable work instructions and practices Follow all safety rules and regulations Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum high school graduate or equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail oriented work environment Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others Ability to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, and push, pull or lift up to 50lbs as needed to perform essential job functions Basic computer knowledge Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions Working Conditions Regularly works with chemical solutions Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust Who We Are Since 1973, Precious Plate has provided exceptional, selective electroplating services by continually adapting and improving electroplating equipment and processes to the specific needs of a wide variety of manufacturers.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
