NFMMC is recruiting caring individuals to serve as Medical Office Assistants at its primary care sites in Niagara Falls and the surrounding towns.
Medical Office Assistants play a vital role in the delivery of primary care.
They help patients by providing information, services and assistance, preparing patients for physician check-ups, assisting with health teaching and health counseling, processing patient registration and making sure patient charts contain updated, accurate information.
Shift:
- Full Time availability.
- Work hours are Monday - Friday from 8 a.
m.
to 4 p.
m.
No weekends required.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED required.
Applied Associates Degree in Medical Office Assisting preferred.
Basic computer skills test required.
Data Entry skills test required.
General clerical skills assessment required.
Experience:
1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant in an office based setting preferred.
