Reporting to the Maintenance Leader, you will work closely with the Operations teams to ensure the safety, efficiency and availability of the linerboard production line; Help develop and manage capital projects; Support the automation and control systems; Participate in the work order request and approval process; Participate in the planning of the maintenance shutdown schedule; Provide technical expertise during time of operational difficulty; Support development of production team members by acting as a technical resource.
Requirements:
The preferred candidate should have a 4-year degree in Control Engineering or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant technical experience; Knowledge and hands-on experience in the pulp & paper industry a plus; Must be self-motivated, able to function autonomously, well organized, detail oriented and efficient under pressure; Should be a team player with strong problem solving skills; Must have a strong safety background & mindset; Teamwork skills are essential.
