Reporting to the Maintenance Leader, you will work closely with the Operations teams to ensure the safety, efficiency and availability of the linerboard production line; Help develop and manage capital projects; Contribute and support the Total Preventive Maintenance System; Participate in the work order request & approval process; Participate in the planning of the maintenance shutdown schedule, including lockout tagout in collaboration with planner; Provide technical support during time of operational difficulty; Support development of production team members by acting as a technical resource; Leading the energy reduction effort at the mill; Leading the document control management.
Requirements:
The preferred candidate should have a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant technical experience; Knowledge and hands-on experience in the pulp & paper industry a plus; Must be self-motivated, able to function autonomously, well organized, detail oriented and efficient under pressure; Should be a team player with strong problem solving skills; Must have a strong safety background & mindset; Teamwork skills are essential.
