Trades Specialist (Plumber/Steamfitter)

Under the supervision of the Regional Park Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent will function in the primary trade of plumbing. The incumbent will be responsible for water supply system maintenance and repairs along with drain waste and vent pipe repairs for residential, commercial and historic structures. The incumbent must be able to work with old and new methods of pipe fitting and consult on long lasting and cost-effective methods and materials. The candidate must have a working knowledge of various lift station styles and operation as well as drainage infrastructure. The candidate must also be able to diagnose and repair boilers and furnaces as it relates to the plumbing trade such as pumps, tanks, valves and operation.
Job Function

Salary Range:
From $43484 to $53081 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Four years of full-time experience in a plumbing trade under a skilled journey-level position which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in a trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses in a trade at a school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
